"We has a terrible experience. Firstly we booked 12 - 1pm on moving / settlement day and then were told on the day that they wouldnt arrive till 3pm. This almost ruined settlement day. They sent contractors at 12pm who took 8.5 hours (paying an hourly rate) after being quoted 2-3 hours per side to move a 3 bedroom house less than 10 mins up the road. We had also completed all small items via car. The movers were extremely slow. Most of the furniture was put into the garage of the new house so we had to move items around. They emailed an invoice around 1030pm the night we moved in and then every single day following that called from numerous numbers and text about payment. We wanted to contest the $1400 charged as it was far more than we were quoted. We had agreed with the manager on the Friday to pay 6 hours as quoted; and then Monday morning [1 week after moving] were threatened with debt collection if we didnt make payment that day. The whole ordeal made our move very stressful and we will not be recommending."
